Motion of stars in the Big Dipper (Ursa Major) from 4000BC to 130,000 AD
Changes in the shape of the Big Dipper constellation due to stellar motions relative to the Sun as seen from Earth from 4000BC until 130,000 AD. Uses proper motions from the ESA Gaia DR3 database plus Hipparcos data for the brighter stars in the constellation.
